ABOUT SCOTT

Scott has spent his career building brands and experiences that reshape how people encounter culture and hospitality. His instinct is to see the opportunity others overlook, then turn it into stories, places, and ideas that capture attention, drive real results, and inspire lasting loyalty. From global hotel brands to cultural platforms, his work is guided by a simple belief: the best experiences bring people closer to what they love. At its core, his work is about serving others and helping them pursue that connection.

In a centuries-old industry, Scott was part of an executive team that proved you can invent a new brand (W Hotels) through innovative experience design, and reinvigorate existing brands (Westin) through something as simple as branding a bed (the Westin Heavenly Bed). This work helped grow Starwood into a global hotel and leisure leader, later acquired by Marriott.

From Secretary of State John Kerry and President George W. Bush to Wynton Marsalis and Isaac Slade to Gloria Steinem and Jennifer Lawrence, TNP convened leading thinkers, visionaries, filmmakers, and performers to spark ideas that move people and drive meaningful change.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Scott was an architect of the concept of “hotel as theater,” reimagining boutique hotels as cultural stages for design, fashion, art, and music. From hosting Art Basel Miami to The Academy Awards, the Grammys, and Fashion Week in New York and London, his work turned hotels into cultural stages—places that captured attention and created experiences people talked about long after they checked out.
